MICHAEL ANDREW LAW CHEUK YUI (B. Hong Kong 1982) is a contemporary artist whose works mainly focus on Contemporary Pop art (Contemporary Pop) paintings.
Currently one of the top three best-selling Asian painters in the Parisian Gallery SINGULART, London's Elliot James& Tyndal contemporary art company, Cutie Showroom Gallery in Iowa and Galerie Koo, and he also runs his own gallery under the brand name of Gallery Michael Andrew Law which act as consultant, commissioned artworks and as an agent for local and international artists. He currently lives and works in Hong Kong. Michael Andrew Law also an avid art collector of modern and contemporary art.
Law studied classical painting with New york artist Dan Anderson, an Italian classical painting restorer/painter from New York, and therefore result in a solid foundation in drawing and oil painting. In 2008, Law co-founded the Hong Kong art studio Nature Art Workshop opened in Central. In addition to producing,showing and selling his own works, the organization also provides support for the education of cultivating a new generation of Hong Kong artists. As a curator, Law organized a number of contemporary art exhibitions and made a series of responses to the popular culture of the millennial generation in Hong Kong.
As of 2021, Law has published more than 30 Artist books and written works, including his essays on contemporary art and film. The works have been exhibited in foreign countries for many times since 2007. Auctions and collectors include Dr. Tony Nader, leader of the Transcendental Meditation Movement, private collection of Maharishi University of Management in the United States, and former United States Federal Member of the Fine Arts Committee, Teresita Fernández, Director of the Visual Arts Department at the University of Chicago, Theaster Gates (Theaster Gates), and Marilyn Minter, Director of the Master of Arts Department at the School of Visual Arts in New York, including three solo exhibitions held in the United States . In addition to his usual studio work, Law often organizes seminars and artist lectures on classical art, modern art, contemporary art, general art and motivation or artist career related topics, and teaches classical and contemporary art for schools, organizations and companies. Workshops are used for educational and entertainment purposes.
Since the beginning of 2010, Law has been interviewing more than a hundred contemporary artists for the research and study of contemporary art, including the legendary Anish Kapoor, David Zwirner, and Mi Klein. 藝術家羅卓睿 為法國畫廊班霸巴黎心藝SINGULART 最暢銷三甲亞洲畫家之一，倫敦Elliot James& Tyndal 當代藝術公司，美國 Cutie Showroom 畫廊和Galerie Koo代理畫家，更經營自家品牌Gallery Michael Andrew Law亦為十多位藝術家的作品代理銷售與委託，現在香港生活和工作， Michael Andrew Law 亦為進取的藝術收藏家 - 私人藏品包括 Rembrandt，曾梵志，村上隆，Urs Fischer，Banksy，Kaws，Marilyn Minter，Thomas Ruff 等等。
羅卓睿曾與紐約意大利籍古典畫修復師/畫家丹安德森在他的工作室學習古典畫，素描及油畫功底深厚。2008年羅卓睿共同創辦了香港藝術工作室 Nature Art Workshop於中環開幕。除了製作和銷售羅卓睿的相關作品之外，該組織還為培養新一代香港藝術家的教育提供支持。作為策展人，羅卓睿組織多個當代藝術展，對香港的Y世代到千禧世代流行文化作出了一系列回應。
